Everyday driving exposes your vehicle’s paintwork to dust, contaminants and the elements. McCarthy Paint Guard Protection Spray is designed to help protect paintwork from everyday environmental contamination and minor surface exposure.
Offered as part of our professional paint services, this protective spray treatment helps you care for the appearance of your vehicle’s finish. Our team can assess the paintwork and advise on treatment and ongoing maintenance.
McCarthy’s combines professional paint services with practical guidance for caring for your vehicle’s finish. Paint Guard is designed to help protect treated paintwork from everyday contamination, alongside regular, careful washing.
After application, keep your vehicle dry for at least 12–24 hours. For the first seven days, avoid automatic brush washes, aggressive pressure washing and abrasive products. For ongoing care, use McCarthy detail automotive shampoo and clean microfibre equipment, and remove bird droppings, insects and tree sap promptly.
Paint Guard does not prevent stone chips, deep scratches or accident damage. Retain your treatment certificate or invoice as proof of application.
We proudly announce that our fully equipped Mobile Vans are NOW offering even more services than before. Our skilled mobile team uses high quality water borne paint and with our Eco-friendly inflatable mobile spray booths, its possible to come and repair your vehicle wherever you are.
